Dahi Vada Ingredients:
Vigna Mungo (Urad Daal) 250gm
Ginger 25gm
Green Chili 5 pieces
Cumin seeds 1 spoon
Black peeper seeds ½ spoons
Chat Masla 1 packet
Red chili powder 1 spoon
Curd 250 gm
Mustered oil 100 gm
Dahi Vada Cooking Methods:
Drain and grind the Urad Daal along with ginger and green chili using very little water to a thick, coarse and fluffy batter.
Heat the pan and put mustered oil. Make small pieces of Vada using the thick paste of Urad Daal and fry it. Fry the Wadas till red colour on medium flame.
Drain and soak in cold water the Wada. After 2-3 minutes, squeeze out Wadas and arrange on a serving dish.
Serve the Vada with Dahi. Pour chaat Masala, salt, roasted cumin and black peeper seeds powder over the Dahi Wada. You can pour red chili powder, garnished coriander leaves and sweet tamarind chutney also over the Dahi Vada.
